Mklink “c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft WebMatrix\” Windows Server 2008 R2 SP2 Windows Vista SP1 ou ultrieur Windows XP SP3 Windows Server 2003 SP2 Problme : impossible d’installer WebMatrix 1,0 si Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 est install sans Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 SP1. This approach has the advantage of not doing an actual copy of the assemblies: On Microsoft Windows Vista or higher, create a symlink to the assemblies in the “bin” directory. By default, WebMatrix gets installed in the “Microsoft WebMatrix” folder under program files.Ģ. Copy the “” and “” assemblies from the WebMatrix installation location to the “bin” directory of the WCF application. Though it they are not saying whether they’re going to fix itġ. Looks like developers are aware of that issue: I could of turned fusion logging on and determined where it was trying to find the assemblies (probably the GAC /) and moved them there instead, but I wanted a solution that was only targeted to this web application, not globally… Anyone know a better fix?

#Microsoft webmatrix windows vista how to
So, I was following advice from another forum entry on how to get IIS Express and WebMatrix to work. It would not start because IIS Express could not initialize. I was trying to get Microsoft WebMatrix to work. I simply copied all of the Microsoft.* assemblies from here into the bin directory of the web application that I was hosting in Web Matrix… and bam, no more error ? Nice solution? No… /a/ solution? yes! ? Help I am running Windows 7 Home Edition from an HP Pavilion laptop, and I accidentally rendered my system unusable. So now that I have the assemblies, I can at least fix the problem temporarily. This tells me that WebMatrix has a new version of the assemblies that it’s using… so where are they? Well, turns out they live within the WebMatrix installation folder (program files (x86)\Microsoft Web Matrix). I did some checking around, and found in the directory of WebMatrix, it’s /config directory had an application configuration file with a binding redirect from 7.0.0.0 to 7.9.* (or something to that nature). mi duda es si para instalar webmatrix necesariamente debo hacerlo sobre windows server. microsoft web platform 3.0 require windows xp service pack 3, windows server 2003 service pack 2 or later.
